What is ARBUS?
ARBUS is short for the Arts and Business program at the University of Waterloo. Students can select from 29 majors to find their passion and also are lucky to be at the intersection of business.
This hybrid program allows students to learn in-depth about a subject that sparks their interest while also gaining relevant business knowledge and skills such as accounting, management, economics, marketing, entrepreneurship, ethics, and communication.
Students who have graduated from the unique program have been able to land jobs in fields such as government, marketing, project management, communications, law, human resources, public relations, and more!

Who we are
We are a group of motivated UW students in the program dedicated to promoting a sense of community, supporting professional development, and the practical application of academic learning for ARBUS students.
Each term we aim to host workshops, provide student resources and foster networking opportunities for other ARBUS students. Through our events and initiatives, we help students apply innovative knowledge and critical thinking to the real world.
The goal of our blog
We’ve started this blog as a way to communicate and engage with students within the ARBUS community. This blog will be for ARBUS students to share their personal experiences, helpful tips, advice and much more. As a team, we want to help connect you with students from various majors, minors, specializations, and co-op placements.
Our goal as a society is to create a platform that provides ARBUS students like you with the information needed to advance your social, academic, and professional lives while guiding you through your undergrads.
We want our members and YOU to be the voice of our blog!
