Another possible schooling to pursue post-grad is law school. Canada has 18 English-language law schools, with 8 located in Ontario.
To apply to law school, you must first write the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) as required for admission. After 3 years of law school, you will graduate with a Juris Doctor, a first-level common law degree in Canada. A JD is still considered an undergraduate degree despite needing prior undergraduate education.
Teacher’s College
If becoming a teacher is one of your career paths, an ARBUS degree can be used to apply for a teacher's college. To become a certified teacher, you must:
Complete a minimum of 3 years of post-secondary degree from an acceptable post secondary institution
Complete a 4-semester education program at any of the following schools
💜 Note
It is important to note that this is only a small portion of potential postgrad degrees to consider. There are many more options out there that go beyond this list. If you are really considering pursuing a postgraduate degree, do not be scared to reach out to your academic advisor to discuss your options.
Remember, not everyone needs or may want to pursue a postgrad after their undergrad, if it is not for you, that’s okay. There are plenty of options out there to further your professional and personal development, whether it is school or not.
